Erin is the lifestyle, newborn, & wedding photographer behind Erin Tetterton Photography. She is an artist at heart and studied painting, ceramics, and photography in college. In 2009 she found herself telling her own life's story as a new wife in a new city through art and most often photography. Her photographic style is a balance between her roots in fine art & my passion for storytelling.

Lillian Garcia - Founder & designer, The Way U
Founder of The Way U, Lillian Garcia works with members of the Wayuu tribe in the desert region of La Guajira, Columbia, to design intricate handbags that are breezy and beautiful. She has a chic eye for bold, beautiful designs that make a statement.
Good to note: Lillian donates 10 percent of profits from her company back to the Wayuu communities with which she works in addition to the salary she pays for their initial work on the bags.

Ashleigh Cochran - Founder & Designer, Ash & Gin
By day Ashleigh works as an interior designer for RedBird Redesign and by night she’s a needlepointing genius who is building her own business ash + gin. Ashleigh creates art out of textiles, organic objects, and other materials out of her Old Town, Alexandria home. Her aesthetic is soothing to the eye and intricate in its detail. Her business goals are ever-evolving but she hopes to one day operate a interior design firm.

Janice Park - Jewelry Designer & journalist
As the artist behind the handmade jewelry line The Pink Reef, Janice crafts all her earrings by hand, using gems, acrylic, hand carved mother of pearl, hand cut fabric flowers and hand tooled brass. Janice is known for her hand painted brass earrings and draws much of her inspiration from colorful florals and Impressionism art. Janice is also a classically trained musician, painter and Emmy-nominated journalist. The Pink Reef is located in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. When not creating beautiful ear baubles, Janice is often sailing with her family and yellow lab Rugby.

Sue Henry - Founder & Textile designer, Tulusa Goods
Sue is the creator behind the textile design company, Tulusa Goods. An artist at her core, she creates beautiful textile designs using block printing techniques and embroidery. Each pillow, jacket, and bag is entirely unique in its tiny details and her prints are colorful and distinct. Because she believes everyone is creative at their core, Sue also teaches workshops all over Alexandria to share her craft all over Alexandria.

MEREDITH PATEL - Owner, B3 Old Town
Meredith is the owner of Barre3 Old Town, a fitness studio geared toward providing a solid total-body workout in a positive, welcoming environment. As a business owner, Meredith loves coming up with creative events to grow her own work as well as the work of other small businesses here in Old Town. She is an active member of the Alexandria Seaport Foundation and takes any opportunity to give back to the city she loves.

LINDSAY MCCONNELL - b3 Old Town Studio Manager
Lindsay is the Studio Manager for Barre3 Old Town and serves as an Instructor Mentor for new team members. She supports studio operations, events, and build community partnerships. As a mentor, she support Barre3’s current team and recruits and trains new instructors. She also works for a small Executive Coaching company here in Old Town, Advancing Inspiration.

Ashley Hart - Holistic health coach
Ashley is a holistic health coach and works at Ascend Cycle, a boutique fitness studio in Del Ray, Alexandria. She is passionate about wellness, fitness, and community. Ashley’s background is in nutrition, but through her life experiences she has come to realize that wellness encompasses so much more that food and exercise which led her to want to shift her career to help others improve their healthy in a holistic manner. In addition to health coaching, Ashley is also a mom of one son (who is almost 6 years old!) and a wife that has recently had to take on a caregiver roll in the past couple of years as her husband went through a health incident that changed their lives forever.

Kathryn Hupczey - Founder, Artisan Matchmaker
Kathryn founded Artisan Matchmaker back in March of 2015 after working in the stationery world for 8 years with the goal of having a business where clients could have their creative needs met. Artisan Matchmaker is not just a stationery company, they are a creative concierge. Some of the services her company provides include: wedding stationery, day of stationary, logos, custom laser etched gifts, custom builds (flower walls, escort walls etc), scrapbooking and more. Kathryn also has her own line of local themed stationery (rtsndesigns.com) and her company offers in-house printing and laser cutting.

Pamela viola - Artist
Pamela has been a photographer and mixed media artist for many years with experience selling and licensing her work through art consultants and interior designers. She has exhibited her work throughout the United States, Paris, France and Oporto, Portugal. Her work regularly appears in television shows such as “Scandal” and “Revenge”, publications including Art Business News, Elan Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine, and is held in public, private, and corporate collections worldwide. Recently Pamela has been focusing her attention on "slow art" with an eye towards recycling, reusing, upcycling and sustainability. She is currently developing a "Pamela Viola Handmade" line of cyanotype prints and cards as well as hand stitched one-of-a-kind items such as cards, scarves and art pieces.

Rebekah is the founder and lead designer for Virginia Dare Dress Co., a Richmond, Virginia based dressmaking company that emphasizes feminine design made for adventuring. With a background in wedding photography Rebekah takes a romantic and artistic approach to her design inspiration, evoking imagery from her travels abroad. She designs and makes her dresses with a modern, feminine eye and utilizes sustainable, small-scale production methods to create her collections.

Lindsay Wasiljov - Founder, Mission Edit
With a background in luxury fashion retail, Lindsay Wasiljov started Mission Edit, an online-based curated selection of on-trend, high quality women’s clothing an accessories with an eye towards making online shopping the very opposite of overwhelming. Lindsay updates her online collection seasonally and features clothing and accessories from small and independent brands she loves. It’s a one-stop, easy to shop selection for the busiest clients who don’t have time for the “noise” of an unedited online shopping experience. Her pop-ups feature curated collections of her favorite pieces, allowing clients to experience the designs outside of the online market.
