A Fall Trunk Show Worth Visiting
Egyptian-born jewelry designer Shu Shu Tonobi draws inspiration from the Mediterranean city of Alexandria with its lush, ancient history and multi-layered cultural elements. Using materials such as rose quartz, aquamarine, and freshwater pearls, Shu Shu creates heavily textured pieces that are unlike anything you have seen before.
Shu Shu’s collection is luxurious in style but by using semi-precious gemstones and gold-filled materials, she offers an approachable price point for her singular pieces. We particularly love this aquamarine and freshwater pearl necklace ($298), as well as this abstract freshwater baroque pearl collar ($298). With their neutral tones but textural details, Shu Shu’s designs pair just as perfectly with a little black dress as with jeans and a white button up.
You can visit Shu Shu at Dress Code on Thursday, October 10, from 1-6 pm; and Friday, October 11 from 11 am - 6 pm. Since Shu Shu creates all her own pieces, she’s often available to customize a selection right in front of you, so this is a great opportunity to not only meet the designer but also create the perfect accessory for your wardrobe. See you then!
